Everything You Need to Know About Embellished Prints
It is without a doubt that embellished prints add depth and dimension to a canvas print. Alex hand paints a selection of ‘dots’ (True Colours’ series) or areas of the canvas (Florals) to create the appearance of an original. Using acrylic paints and mediums, Alex will select the areas across the canvas to add textured embellishment.
After a couple days once the paint has dried, the embellished print will be protected with a varnish.
The timeline to complete an embellished print is 3 - 4 weeks.
To add embellishment to your order, please contact Alex at alex@alexhuntstudio.com . Prints can only be embellished in any size, however the ‘True Colours’ series can only be embellished in their original size. The cost of print embellishment ranges from $200 - $400 (in addition to the cost of the canvas print and stretching).

Floral Embellishment
Floral prints are also available for embellishment and will also take 3-4 weeks to complete. The floral prints can be embellished in any size, however, not all florals are available to be embellished due to the blending of colours in the original. Alex will match the colours in the image and apply acrylic paints and mediums to create an original appearing piece.
